2nd Charity Knit of 2024

I used the seafarer's scarf pattern from the Seaman's Church Institute for my 2nd charity make of the year.

The pattern is very easy. I used Red Heart Super Saver, It is a very nice long wearing acrylic yarn. It does seem to soften with age. The pattern used up the majority of the skein I had left from making a hat earlier. For the purl portion in the middle I just grabbed some black worsted I had in the collection.

Hopefully it will keep a mariner somewhere in the world warm as they walk the deck of the big ship.
