4th Charity project of the year
I am doing quite well on my charity makes for the Seaman's Church Institute if I must say so myself. Another basketweave crochet scarf has been completed. I really like this pattern and I think the resulting scarf is a stunner.
The only issue I had was I used new to me crochet hooks someone gifted me. They are supposed to be easier on your hands. Not for me, just give me the old metal ones I have been using for over 30 years. The hook just felt strange in my hand and I think I crocheted slower. I will pass these onto another crocheter. I used almost an entire skein of Loops and Thread yarn in the Taupe colorway. It is listed as an aran weight but it feels like worsted weight to me. I achieved gauge and that is all that matters.
I took an in the wild photo - very fancy!
