A Visit Home

Over the past weekend I went to my home state to surprise my father for his birthday (and also to celebrate my birthday - we celebrate 8 days apart). The weather was delightful, a little bit of rain, temperatures not above 60 and the leaves were changing.

It is always delightful to spend time with family. We stopped at farm stands.

Went to a local towns Fall Festival where I found some treasures and enjoyed the scenery.

Also indulged in all of the Fall treats I could find.

The visit was a delight and I thoroughly enjoyed my time back in my home state.
