Fall Reading
I took a short trip over the past weekend so this gave me lots of reading time. I finished The Wind Knows My Name by Isabel Allende. This was a kindle download from the library. It seemed much shorter than many of her other books. I would rate it a 3-4 star book. A little heavy on the political points. It also too forever to weave in all the disparate characters that were presented.
Car Audio
Ghosted by Rosie Walsh. A little over 50% of the book is listened to - it is starting to not be quite so annoying. I read other reviews of thee book on Goodreads and it turns out i am not the only one who finds the dragging out of all the "mystery" a little much.
Hardcover
The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett. This is back at my house, but still not being read:(
The Unquiet Heart by Katie Walsh. This book was not on my kindle so was not taken on my travels. I need to pick it back up to finish.
Kindle
The Man in the Window by Jon Cohen. This is a "rediscovered" book by Nancy Pearl (a librarian I trust on book recommendations). A delightful book of a small town and the characters that live in the town. It is also about love and acceptance.
