Bookmarks
One of the items I have wanted to try with my Cricut is using some of my faux leather scrap pieces to make bookmarks. This is not a hard project and makes a very nice small present. The crafting event I attended online with Amy Romeu had some I could upload.
Now of course I had to change them up just a little bit. I did not think the people I wanted to gift would really want a saying their bookmark so just let the leather speak for itself.
I did add the iron-on foil to the back except for one that is simple red HTV. The foil is a slight pain to attach but it does take your project to the next level.
I added the tassels but I must say I do not find them the best quality. They are just tied on so if needed can be removed.
Keep your eye on the above faux leather patterns you will be seeing them soon used in another project.
I tried another project from the crafting fest. My first try went well until I tried to attach the snaps - that did not go well.
This is a cord keeper. I will be attempting this one again because it is a cute idea and something people can actually use.
