End of July Reading

Finished One Italian Summer by Rebecca Serle (not a recommended read/listen) and The Divorcees: A Novel by Rowan Beaird. A very slow book to get started and it gets interesting only in the last few chapters. I also finished listening to Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati. A very long book that probably could have been shorter. According to Goodreads I have read 71 books so far this year.

Hardcover Book

Bygone Days of Nevada Schools by Flo Reed. I try to read at least a little bit of this each week.

The Frozen River: A Novel by Ariel Lawhon. This is an interesting book, a historical mystery.

Audio Book

The Mystery of the Blue Train by Agatha Christie. An oldie but goodie from the queen of mystery writers.

Kindle Book

As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. A classic and a reminder of why he has never been a favorite author or mine.
