Combining Two Loves
One of my favorite authors is Louise Penny. She writes a mystery series based in Three Pines. I believe it has been made into a tv or film. The books are well plotted and expertly written. I found a (new to me) indie yarn business, Olive & Two Ewe, based in Florida. They announced a month or so ago they would be producing a mystery box based on Three Pines. I signed up right away.
The box finally arrived yesterday.
When I opened the box I was greeted with this beautiful packaging.
I carefully (okay I ripped it a little bit in my excitement) opened to reveal the inside.
Look at all the treasures this box revealed! Yes, there is yarn in there too LOL.
This portion is an enamel pin, pine cone stitch markers and an adorable little notebook.
I also got a sticker and temporary tattoo. But here is the stunner.
Look at this beautiful color of yarn. It is a 100% merino wool worsted weight. On the website for the company they give a few options on patterns to use. Right now I am just busy petting it to see if it tells me what it would like to be. It arrived at just the right time because I was just notified by my local library that the latest installment of the mystery series was available for me to check out (I have been on a wait list for a few months).
