Crochet
I started this project in the summer of 2021. Crochet was my first love. I currently tend to knit more than crochet, but there were years where I did more crochet than knit.
I bought this kit from Herrschners a few years ago (I checked and it is no longer available). My shoulder was bothering me the other week so knitting was not an option. I got out the project bag and added a few more rows. I think I am about 40% of the way through the project. The table runner has 4 kittens and I have completed 2 and have just begun the tail of the third.
Sometimes I have a touch of bursitis in my right shoulder left over from golf lessons. Years ago I thought I might like to take up golf. I signed up for lessons, but never got off the driving range. Every lesson for over an hour I just hit balls on the driving range. Well that led to shoulder pain which led to a meeting with an orthopedic dr. He was very nice and explained that the bursa in the shoulder was inflamed. He suggested resting the shoulder and forgoing my golf glory. Ever since occasionally the shoulder will get a twinge if it is overused. My golf career was over before it began.
