I knew that over the past year I had not done as much sewing as it seemed I did during the pandemic lock down. I just remembered to take a thread spool picture and it proved my belief.

It also appears that I did a lot more serger work over the past year.

Maybe it was the same amount of thread but just different sized spools. The large cones are serger thread cones and contain much more thread than the spools you buy to hand sew or use in a typical sewing machine.
I am hoping to get back to more sewing this year, including more made for me clothes.
