Delightful Treat

Chocolate covered strawberries (at least in the US) seem to be only a Valentine Day treat. My DD loves them and I make them for her year round.

Bakers chocolate makes a lovely product called dipping chocolate. I find it almost every grocery store I enter - it is in the baking aisle.

I wash and dry the strawberries, throw the canister into the microwave for a few seconds at a time until the wafers are melted. Dip the dried berries to coat and viola - a special treat for any day of the week.

Nothing very super fancy, but easy. It is a nice treat for either yourself or someone you wish to surprise.
