Crochet Also Happens

I di finish the 6 Christmas ornaments from the Herrschneers kit. The directions in the kit state that there is enough yarn to make a complete second set. I would say so and then some. I only made the 6. I have way too many ornaments to hang from a tree currently.

The yarn which is the company brand of cotton yarn is very soft to the touch. It will make some lovely dishtowels. It has gone back into the collection to marinate for a while.

The pattern called for French knots in the center of each ornament. Um...I tried that and my DD told me it make it look like a nipple. Well not the look I wanted on my Christmas tree so that got pulled back out and I did not add the nipple feature to any others.

It is nice to get a longstanding kit out of the stash and complete it for its purpose.
