Election Week Reading

Well not really since no political books here this week. I have a few finishes and some new starts. I finished Scoundrel: How a Convicted Murderer Persuaded the Women Who Loved Him, the Conservative Establishment, and the Courts to Set Him Free by Sarah Weinman. The main character was just a horrid person who used and abused others his entire adult life. I also finished Pandora's Jar: Women in the Greek Myths by Natalia Haynes which I recommend. Also read and finished the kindle book, The Last Christmas in Paris by Hazel Gaynor. A novel set mostly during WWI. Not a great book, but a good escape read.

Kindle Book

The Ice Cream Queen of Orchard Street by Susan Jane Gilman. Not a real winner of a book. It is interesting just enough to keep you reading, but not on the edge of your seat.

Car Audio

Ordinary Grace by William Kent Kruger. This is actually a reread. According to Goodreads I originally read the book in 2020. It is well written and I am enjoying it again.
