Finished Project

After many months I have a finished needlework project. I purchased this tiny kit in London before the pandemic. It is meant to be a card that you send in the mail. Um..no. I love many people quite a bit, but probably not enough to spend months on a tiny project that I entrust to the postal service.

Anyhoo, here is the completed project in all its glory. Oh, it is supposed to be the Tower of London.

Between you and me and the fence post needle projects are difficult to photograph. You thought my pictures of my knitting were less than stellar, well just you wait LOL.

The project kit did include all the finishing items needed (the frame and envelope). Since I was not using those items I had to decide how to display the piece.

Framing always makes a piece look better. Michael's had a frame sale the other week and I picked up a 3x3 frame. The only portion I am not too happy about is the spacing between the top and bottom of the piece in the frame. Currently I am not unhappy enough to try to fix this issue. It looks adorable on display in our house. A great memento of a wonderful family trip.
