First Summer Sock Camp Pair
I finished the basic ribbed socks. I knit the cuff in a 1x1 ribbing and then the remainder of the sock in a knit 3 purl 1 rib.
Here they are getting their first bath. They fit, but not quite as snugly as my previous sock make. I must admit I dislike all the ribbing. It is just slow going when making socks to be doing ribbing all the time.
I did my usual princess inseam for my delicate feet. I did like the yarn it striped very nicely. The yarn is Kroy sock yarn in the zebra stripes colorway. Ribbed socks also use more yarn. This is the first pair of socks I have ever knit that used up both 50 gram balls. In fact, the toe of the 2nd sock was finished in a plain black yarn I had in my stash.
