FO-Charity Vest
Being ill has meant lots of extra knitting time. I finally finished my July charity knit - a vest for the Seaman's Church Institute.
They will be able to see this mariner coming a mile away when wearing this vest. The yarn is OLD. The label states it is from Montgomery Wards Easy Care in the colorway Tangerine. The chain Montgomery Wards closed its last store in 2001. The yarn was gifted to me by a lady at church who knows I knit for charity. I used 346 grams.
The pattern was modified by me to be mostly knit in the round. I dislike seaming in knitting. I knit in the round until I get to the armhole bind off.
The pattern is easy and boring. Hopefully it will help keep someone at sea warm and safe. I will send it later this year in my next box to the charity.
