September Reading Beginning
I abandoned In the Midst of Winter by Isabel Allende. It was just interesting enough for me to continue after about 50 pages. It was also due back at the library and I did not feel like it need to be renewed. I finished Bygone Days of Nevada Schools by Flo Reed and Lovely War by Julie Berry. Being ill has its advantages - mostly laying in bed reading.
Hardcover Book
The Children of Jocasta by Natalie Haynes. I am gradually reading this book. I am still deciding if it will be a finish or an early return to the library for me.
Audio Book
Close to Death: A Novel by Anthony Horowitz. I just adore this series and author. I find the writing style very engaging.
The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. Almost halfway through the listen and it just keeps getting more and more interesting.
Kindle Book
The Beach Hut Murders by Peter Boland. This is the second in the series. They are quite enjoyable cozy mysteries featuring older very active ladies.
The Hazelbourne Ladies of Motorcycle and Flying Club by Helen Simonson. I have read others by this author. A book about the changes in women's lives after the end of WWI.
