FO Crochet Project
A woman I follow on Instagram was crocheting a wall hanging from a new to me designer, Little Light Design Co. I went to the website and found quite a few patterns to try. The pattern designer uses easily obtainable yarns and does provide video tutorials for some stitches.
The first design I have just finished is her Fall wall hanging.
It might look better not on a white wall but my house really does not have that many colorful walls. The pattern was very easy to follow and I had never done a bobble stitch in crochet so I learned a new stitch. I bought a skein of white from Michaels in the Loops and Thread line. The project used almost the entire skein - there is just the perfect amount left to add some stripes on a hat I can knit later for charity.
The pattern designer also includes finishing directions for the fringe and the dowel rod. I found the rods precut for under $3 at Lowe's (a packet of 6). I already have another pattern for a Christmas themed wall hanging printed out and the yarn ready to go.
