Scenic Views

I had a day off from school (I have no idea why but I selected not to ask the school calendar people - just accepted the blessing). My DH also took a day off of work to spend some time together. We went out to breakfast and then a drive to a location about 50 miles away called Nelson, NV. It is very close to the Colorado River.

It was breezy but very pleasant temperature wise.

It is a wonderful place for views of the river. For some reason there is really never any boat traffic on this portion of the river.

The clouds were stunning on the drive.

This was taken on our way away from the river. About 2 hours after this photo is began to rain which might have been a prediction based on the darkening in the clouds.
