Hard Boiled Eggs

I needed a few hard boiled eggs for a potato salad I was making the other day. There are as many ways to cook hard boiled eggs as there are eggs I believe. The easiest and best method I discovered was to use my Instant Pot. It takes less than 10 minutes and they come out perfect every time.

It is important that the eggs are kept from touching the bottom of the pot. I invested in this egg trivet. It came with a whole lot of other Instant Pot goodies in a bundle from Amazon.

I load it up with eggs and push the manual button. There are many other actual tutorials on the web that give you precise times, etc. I agree 7 is kinda of a strange number of eggs to cook at one time. My family never complains because they love deviled eggs. I presume you can cook any amount of eggs you need up to 7 but I always fill it up. A hard-boiled egg is a nice addition to a salad or lunch box.
