June Reading
A few more finishes this week: Lincoln in the Bardo by George Saunders. A very strange book that I would not recommend - though the audio version is a veritable who's who in the entertainment industry. You Look Like That Girl: A Child Actor Stops Pretending and Finally Grows Up by Lisa Jakub. This book turned out to be very interesting and not at all a "typical" celebrity memoir.
Hardcover Book
Bygone Days of Nevada Schools by Flo Reed. I am still dipping in and out of this one as time allows.
Audio Book
The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood. I really am enjoying this mystery. The main characters keep thinking they have solved the murders only to find no, not yet. I will admit i made the connection between all the victims at about the 35% portion of the read. It has taken the main characters twice as long to make the connection.
The Garden of Evening Mists by Tan Twan Eng. Look at what is back in the rotation. This is my knitting book. I listen to the audio in the evening while knitting on one of my projects.
Kindle Book
The Dollhouse by Fiona Davis. Set in NYC and switching between 2 time eras. It is very interesting. The only issue is that I dislike slightly the switching of eras in every chapter. You just get invested in the 2016 story and then next chapter you are back in 1952.
