Keychain

I signed up for a virtual event with one of my favorite earring designers, Amy Romeu. This event was 12 days of keychains. The designs were super cute. Many of the participants also made them into earrings.

For my first project I decided on the flamingo keychain. I cut the shape from white faux leather. This leather has a fuzzy backing. I did not want to back it with foil iron on since the pieces would be glued together.

I am getting ready to apply the first layer of HTV. If you are going to do a flamingo keychain at least part of it must be glitter.

After the first HTV I applied black, light pink and a medium pink all in regular HTV.

Here is the finished product. I think it turned out super cute. I will have to use it for a week or so to see how well it withstands life in the real world.
