Knitting in the Wild

After my disaster of knitting last week I am back at it. Actually once I had washed the shawl thingy it does not look that bad on a person. It certainly is not a show stopper when laid out.

I started a sock. A new to me pattern so we shall see. The yarn is Knitpicks Felici in the Dragonboat colorway. I also took a picture of knitting in the wild. I have begun the toe as you might be able to see. So far all I have knit is green in two different shades.

I knit another pair of socks using the same brand of yarn, but not this colorway. The socks did not match at all. In theory I like self striping yarn but have not had much success in making the socks actually match when knitting two of them.
