Knot Your Average Dress

As part of my monthly sewing goal I decided to use the DBP I purchased from Milymae fabrics a few months ago. Another sewer showcased the fabric on an Instragram reel and I was hooked.

I used the Knot Your Average Dress pattern from 5outof4 patterns. It was released quite a while ago but it is an easier sew that looks complicated because of the front knot.

Included in the pattern instructions are links to a sew along that was completed upon release. It shows you exactly how to complete the knot in the front. I selected the underlayer version, but not the nursing option.

The fabric was a dream to work with and feels so soft.

The only thing that would make it beyond perfection would be pockets. Maybe on the next version. The sleeves are a little longer this time to extend the wear into the Fall season.
