Week 10 of YOP14

I am hoping I am not running into more blog problems. It seems like over the past few days Wordpress has been a little tempermental. If you don't see any post in the next few days now you know why. I did try linking this weeks earlier posts but not sure if it is working:( I really wish they would stop updating word press and making it nonfunctioning for users.

Knitting Plans/Goals

September goals: finish Jeffrey Pine Cardigan (actually completed on 8/31), finish Spooky Roller socks, add 3 mini skeins (#13, 14 & 15) from the Christmas in July Advent project of the Anthology Throw, finish the orange Seafarer's vest which is a charity knit, knit 2 hats for charity and finish the Knitmas in July shawl. I also want to cast on a few new projects. I plan on at least 1 new cast on for the month.

Update: I finished the Jeffrey Pine Cardigan and the Orange Seafarer's vest! About 1/2 way through skein #13 of Anthology throw, almost have the first charity hat complete and am playing around with granny squares for my next crochet project. I did a yarn update yesterday.

Sewing Plans/Goals

September goal: I would like to sew with some of my collection of Double Brushed Poly (DBP). I want to make 4 dresses.

Update: I sewed a DBP dress, the Dublin and wore it to work this week. Very comfortable.

Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals

September goal: work at least 1 hour a week on the project.

Update: Completed another hour for the month.

Crochet Plans/Goals

September goals: Finish the Taylor Swift inspired crochet dress. Cast on a new crochet project , not selected yet, but I have ideas.

Update: The dress is finished - just waiting for cooler weather to debut at work. I began working on finding the correct gauge for granny squares I need for my next project.

Cricut Plans/Goals

September goal: complete 4 projects with a Halloween theme

Update: Made a simple Halloween card from one of the virtual events I attended.

Misc Goals/Plans

I did make it back to the gym twice this week.
