New Hacci Knit Sweater
I can not only knit sweaters, but also sew them up. Frankly, the sewing takes less time:) I bought a Hacci knit fabric to see if I liked it for sewing and wearing. Hacci is a type of sweater knit. It is thin and I will need to wear a camisole underneath the sweater, but it is so soft and comfy.
I bought the fabric at the beginning of the year from Olga's Closet. This online fabric company has some of the best prices on knits. I have purchased quite a bit from them and have been happy with every purchase.
I used the Sloane Sweater pattern from Love Notions. The directions were easy to follow and the sizing I selected was perfect. I made the curved hem with a hoodie. I added thumbhole cuffs, just because I know how to do them and I love them on a hoodie/sweater. The pattern also includes a bottom band if you desire.
I did not line the hood (not enough fabric) and the directions do not suggest it as an option. You can also just put on a neckband instead of a hood. There are so many options you can do with this pattern.
