New Pattern New Purse

The Rivet Pattern company released a new bag pattern last month, The Melody. It is a bucket bag of sorts. They also released a video tutorial and it looked great. I bought some mushroom fabric that was a heavier weight at Hobby Lobby and for the lining I used leftover valentine dot cotton fabric.

I modified it slightly to have 2 zippered pockets on the inside. I also placed two outside pocket panels.

It turned out to be a lovely bag and I am enjoying my new Spring purse.

I simply thought the fabric was cute, but it seems lots of people like mushrooms. I have gotten more compliments on the fabric choice then anything else. The closure on the top is a magnetic snap which works great.
