New Yarn for the Collection

A few years ago I was lucky enough to attend the Flagstaff Wool & Fiber Festival. All that lovely wooly wonders I was in heaven. I purchased a few hand dyed skeins. One of the favorite yarns was from a dyer Purple Lamb Fibers. She dyes the most unique colors. Over the Christmas holidays she announced she was planning to dye plaid yarn. Well she did not have to ask me twice to preorder a skein. The hardest part was selecting which plaid to choose. It finally arrived late last week. She also always packs them in a box with tissue paper. It makes a very nice presentation.

I was inspired by another blogger to order a skein of Christmas sock yarn from this shop on Etsy I might have to order more, the shop has an excellent selection of German sock yarn at reasonable prices. I want to knit myself a pair of Christmas socks. We shall see if that occurs this year or next. The side of the ball label shows the pattern.
