Garlic Bread for the Freezer
My family loves garlic bread. A few years ago I discovered a recipe for making my own garlic butter spread. I buy the french bread to make this, usually from the grocery store.
Here are all the ingredients (except the bread) needed to begin. It works best if your butter is soft.

After you have mixed everything together spread about a teaspoon or so on each side of the bread. I flash freeze the slices before placing them in ziploc bags for freezer storage.

I flash freeze them for about an hour or so and then bag. You just want to freeze them enough so the butter slices will not stick together in your baggie. You are ready for a garlic bread side.
