Sassy Pants
Sometimes you have a vision of how you would like to create a project. Sometimes it takes a little work. This project turned out much like I envisioned with a few hiccups along the way. I used an older knit pair of capri pants I already own. The project is super cute and I giggle every time I wear them.
I did have trouble with the cutting of the saying. I had to reverse it and resize it. The third time I cut it worked great. I cannot remember where I bought the glitter HTV. I wish I could because it does not stay completely on the pant leg. It starts to peel off as the day progresses. I will put my teflon sheet on it and iron it again to see if that will cause it to adhere properly.
I'm not sure if the non-sticking is due to the HTV I used, the fact that it was placed over a seam or the material in the pants. For the next attempt I might make a pair of pants with no side seam and see if that helps.
I know you can put HTV on sweatpants because I have seen it on other blogs. It is fun to try new things. I learned something about placement and reversing the pattern in Circut Access before you cut it.
