Semi-freezer meal
For dinner tonight I used a few frozen items to make meatball tortellini. I used the recipe as an inspiration. Into the crockpot went a package of cheese tortellini and some frozen meatballs. I made a batch of my own cream of mushroom soup and stirred that into the mixture. I cooked on low for about 2-3 hours. About 20 minutes before time was up I added a small frozen package of mixed vegetables. I have made this a few times and it is always welcome at the table.

I used frozen meatballs. These are the best of the worst as far as frozen commercial meatballs are concerned. I buy them at Whole Foods. They are not full of fillers and actually taste okay.
