Sweater Knit Dress

I have found some delightful sweater knits from Mily Mae fabrics. I first bought a charcoal colorway and since then I have purchased the fabric in two more colorways. I used a lovely teal to make a new sweater dress for myself. I used my favorite sweater pattern from Love Notions, The Arlington. I am partial to a mock turtleneck so always select that option on the pattern.

I think this shows the fabric - the drape is wonderful. The only drawback is to make sure your hands are very moisturized when using the fabric. It can be sensitive to any hand roughness.

I of course added bands to the sleeves and bottom. My motto - anything to avoid a hem! If you want to find out which threads still need a quick snip just take a picture. This will be a wonderful dress to wear this late Fall.
