The Summer Reading Has Begun
The Woman in Me by Britney Spears was a very interesting read. Also finished Murder Road by Simone St. James. If you like ghosts in your murder mystery this author will become one of your favorites. A favorite author is Ann Patchett. I read the first book she published, Patron Saint of Liars. Even thought this book is over 20 years in print the themes of the book are still relevant today. I finished Leslie F##king Jones by Leslie Jones late in the week. Summer vacation has arrived and the reading has kicked into overdrive.
Hardcover Book
Return To Valetto by Dominic Smith. A mysterious book set in a small dying village in Italy.
Audio Book
Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen. Since I am reading the biography of Jane Austen it is only fitting that I am reading/listening to one of her books.
Madness: The Search for Sanity in Asylum, and the Legacy of Race in Mental Health by Antonia Hylton. Read by the author - this book is very well researched.
Kindle Book
Jane Austen at Home: A Biography by Lucy Worsley. Slow progress is being made, but it is being read.
Diva by Daisy Goodwin. This will get more reading time this week since it will shortly need to be returned.
