We have an Apron
A client asked me to recreate her favorite apron. Well that was certainly a steep learning curve. I made 2 different versions before I was happy with the mock up of the new improved apron. I had my client try on the muslin and she liked it. She bought the fabric I used. I did change up a few things from the orginal. Mainly no straps around the neck and back. Personally I dislike ties around my neck. I am not blessed in the height department and I can never find premade commercial aprons that actually do not drag on the ground on me. I like to be able to adjust the neck piece. Someone gifted me an apron with adjustable straps and it is one of my favorites. Luckily I was able to convince my client of the wisdom of my choice.

I also dislike making ties - too fiddly with all the turning inside out. I also knew from experience that placing ties on the top and sides would like to a lot of fiddly fitting issues.

I am having the client try it tomorrow. There might still be some adjusting to be completed after a fitting. Hopefully that will be a minimum of fussing. Once it is set and approved I can start on her 2nd apron. She had trouble picking fabrics so selected 2.
