I finished the socks and they fit quite nicely! But one of these is not like the other.

I know I could have unwound the skeins to find the start of the correct portion so they would match. Um..I just don't care enough. They are socks and will be inside shoes the majority of their life. We will all be fine even if they do not perfectly match each other.

I am just thrilled to have found a sock recipe that works for me. The only issue I had was that I began them on size 1 9-inch circular needles. Once I reached the heel portion I moved them onto what I thought were size 1 Hiya Sharp circular needles with a 40 inch cable so I could magic loop them. After I cast the 2nd one off I realized I had grabbed the Hiya Sharps 1.5 instead. Oops, I don't think it will matter all that much in the long run. I did wonder why the second sock seemed just a tad bit bigger than the first. Not enough to make me recast them on to knit the entire foot again. I had tried them both on and I really cannot tell a difference in the final fit. They have been worn in the wild and declared very nice!
