What to do with a canned good

Sometimes after you can food people (i.e. your family members) will ask well what are you going to make with the canned goods you spent all this time creating. I used some of a can of Dilly Beans as my secret ingredient in a macaroni salad. This is the base recipe I use.

Of course, if you know me I have to change things around. My family does not enjoy celery in really anything so I did not use it. My DD is not a fan of seeds of any kind in his salads so no corriander was harmed in the making of the salad. I am not a fan of raw onion so that went by the wayside also. Instead of sweet relish I added the dilly beans. I halved the amount of sugar in the recipe (which I do with almost every recipe I make). It is a light salad and my family really likes this version.

I served it with mini hamburgers made using my own dried onion soup mix. A very nice almost summer meal.
