Week 24 of YOP 14
Officially on school break until January!
Knitting Plans/Goals
December goals: Finish the Anthology throw by adding mini skeins #22, 23 & 24. Complete 2 pairs of socks (1 for my daughter and another for me)- these will be Advent projects.
Update: I do manage to stay current on the Advent socks. I absolutely adore the striping and colors on these socks. Within the next day or two I should begin the toe decreases. Mini skein #22 has been completely added and soon #23 will be joined.
Sewing Plans/Goals
December goal: I would like to concentrate on using flannel I have in my stash to sew. Sew a few skirts hopefully using wovens, but knits will work too.
Update: Still sewing Christmas presents. This time it was two sets of napkins in NFL fabric for friends. I gifted them with the tag line that they could now set a proper table.
Embroidery/Cross Stitch Plans/Goals
December goal: work at least 1 hour a week on the project.
Update: I did accomplish this goal.
Crochet Plans/Goals
December goals: Crochet at least half way up the sides of the purse. You crochet all sides of the purse in one round so it takes a little while to get a round complete.
Update: I am hoping to get back crocheting this project during my break.
Cricut Plans/Goals
December goal: Maybe a few Christmas gifts and cards will be completed.
Update: Nothing cricut related was created this week.
Misc Goals/Plans
I completed the Winter Kindle Challenge 16/16. I think you might need to be a Kindle Unlimited subscriber to receive them (but check with Amazon). They are just simple reading challenges (such as read a certain type of book or read 3 days in a row). This year has been the year I read more on my Kindle. I read everyay and of course I got an app that tracks that!
