Faux Leather Projects

I prefer to cut out faux leather projects using my Cricut. Sometimes I am unable to find a pattern I would like to use in a whole sheet of faux leather. The Polka Dotted Peach had a back to school drop of cute keychains and lanyards.

Each was so adorable I couldn't choose just one. I like to make a little back to school gift for my grade level team.

I took these into work one day and let them select what they wanted. I did have to hand cut the leather. I do better on straight lines than curves, but I made it work.

These are the items they selected. I did add iron on foil to the back of the pencil key fob. I have been using a keychain I cut out about a week earlier. It works and makes me chuckle every time I see it.

I still have to work on getting the faux suede tassel to stay attached. I just bought some larger jump rings and am hoping that will help.
