Finished Ornaments

Remind me that I really do not enjoy beading! I went to a store to buy beading needles. They have been returned because I assume each needle had an eye to thread but I was unable to thread anything into the tiniest needle eye I have ever seen. I ended up buying beading needles from Amazon. Way more than I needed, but at least I was able to thread them.

Beading needles do not particularly appear to enjoy felt. I had the dickens of a time pushing the needle through the felt. I did make a slight modification on the round green ornaments. The directions called for pushing the needle through 2 layers of felt along with the sequin and bead. Um...that was not going to happen. I just did a blanket stich with no sequins and beads (both of which I hope not to see again anytime soon). No one but me will ever know. I also threw away the evidence of directions that came in the kit.

Pure grit and termination got this project finished.
