FO Sweater
The Naughty Sweater is finished, well at least for now. I checked and rechecked to make sure there was no line in the sweater.
Okay, I can faintly see a line, but I am so over this sweater. There is at least no holes where I joined the yarns. The line is not as pronounced as it was previously. I believe the issue is that I originally purchased 4 skeins of yarn and then went back over the numbers and added another skein to my order.
Then I gave the sweater a bath and laid it out to dry and began to cry.
Look at that line in the middle of the sweater. (insert very angry face here!). The only way that I might get rid of this line is to frog the entire sweater and reknit it from scratch. I am not willing to do that - I am over this project.
I now know why many knitters knit striped sweaters. The fit is perfect and it looks very nice on my person. It only has been on for a few minutes because it is over 100 degrees here every day.
I have woven in all the ends. It is difficult to get a picture of the true color. This sweater looks like a different color in every picture I have taken.
I won at yarn chicken. The picture above shows all the yarn I have left from the 5 skeins. This includes the gauge swatch I completed and actually washed prior to beginning the sweater.
