Freezer Cooking

Since I have been off on vacation and there were hardly any freezer meals left I got busy. I made 14 chicken pot pies, 3 containers of Chicken Pesto Parmesan and a new to me recipe.

Sometimes you would like chicken noodle soup. This version will not be much quicker than making chicken noodle soup from scratch but it can be safely cooked in the crock pot while you are at work. I ended up dividing the ingredients into 2 small freezer bags. If I make soup I am often the only one who eats the meal. My DH does not really consider soup an actual meal.

As you can see from the label it is considered a copycat recipe of the Chicken Noodle Soup available at Panera (a fast food chain in the US).

It also used up the last package of the 6 pack of chicken breasts I bought at Costco. I haven't tried it yet but since it is basic chicken noodle soup ingredients I am sure it will be fine.
