I discovered a new yarn shop in a neighboring town (Yarn Over BC). It has only been open since late February and is currently just on Facebook and Instagram. Well, you cannot leave a yarn shop empty handed! In yarn shops I also ask about local dyers and they introduced me to a new one, Purls and Postulates. I bought a skein of a glow in the dark DK weight yarn.

Once I returned home with my new treasure I went to the website and found a kit!

Well, how could I resist this as a teacher. I believe this will be my next sock cast on. The yarn feels delightful and it came with a coupon to download the pattern from Ravelry. Now I am off to finish at least one of the numerous projects I have on the needles before I begin another.
