Making A Cat Calendar Attempt #1

I have been seeing these adorable cat calendars you can make with the Cricut. Well at least they have been on my social media feeds. I wanted to try this project because it is a draw and cut project. Now that I know that I can use Crayola thin makers in my pen holder in Cricut I want to try all the draw projects.

I have tried the Cricut brand pens. I mist say I am not too impressed. They tend to be weak and not long lasting. Crayola markers are always top notch. I downloaded a project from my Cricut Access.

Like a lot of life it is not working out the way I expected. The project has 4 cats on each 12x12 piece of cardstock. I have tried it with 4 different cardstock colors and you can see I only have 3 usable pieces.

The issue seems to be random pen marking, especially on the bottom of the cardstock. I am researching why this is occurring. The issue may be a need to calibrate my machine.

I will keep working on this project. Hopefully I will get it finished this weekend or at least by the end of 2024.
