My Reading Week
I finished We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves by Karen Joy Fowler. Not my favorite, just a strange book. Half of the time I was not sure what was actually occurring in the book. I'm glad I borrowed the kindle version from my public library and did not pay for the privilege of reading the book.
Kindle Ebook
Prague Winter: A Personal Remembrance and War, 1937-1948 by Madeline Albright. No further along, still stuck in 1942. The author of this book passed away yesterday.
Car Audio
56 Days by Catherine Ryan Howard. If you remember I was listening to this book last month when the subject matter just felt a little raw. Also I had to return the audiobook to the library and I just received the chance to take out the audiobook this week. In the book they are discussing how their lives will return to normal after the 2 week lock down. I am thinking, oh just you wait honey. That will not be happening anytime soon. I'm hoping I can get through this book before it will be due back at the library again.
Ipod Audio
The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. No further along since I am listening the book below.
The Lincoln Highway by Amor Towles. I had to move this to my ipod since the audiobook was due back to the library. I would have renewed it but that was not possible. The wait to check it out was crazy long so I downloaded the remaining cds into my itunes account and will finish listening that way.
