I could not post yesterday since my hosting site was not connecting to wordpress. After a full week I was way too tired at the end of the day to argue with the program.

I live in a very dry climate in the southwest so I recently purchased a cool mist humidifier. Winter makes it even drier. In earlier years we always had a humidifier running in my DDs room because she would often suffer nose bleeds from the lack of moisture of the air.

A doctor recommended I also try using a cool mist humidifier. It is a little bit of a pain since you have to fill it with distilled water every day. I have just added it to the very long list of chores I complete everyday to keep the house in running order.

This is the model I bought, LEVOIT Humidifier for Bedroom Large Room (2.4L Water Tank) from Amazon. This is the quietest machine I have ever used. You honestly cannot hear a sound coming from the machine when it is on. The humidifiers I purchased for DD's bedroom were not ear-splitting loud, but you always knew when they were in use.

I have been using it for a week. No verdict yet on whether it has made a huge difference, though it does not seem as dry in the room.
