New Project

Well the trip meant there really was no sewing over the past week. Trying to catch up from being on vacation. I did purchase fabric and it arrived.

I made myself a lunchbox but it is way too large for everyday use (unless I am supplying lunch for 4 other people).

Of course right after I finished the huge bag Ellie & Mac released a lovely little lunchbox pattern, The Take A Break lunch tote. This one looked perfect sized and has a video tutorial. I needed new fabric (of course) for the new project. My prior make used laminated cotton and I really like this fabric.

I bought different fabrics this time.

In addition to these 2 pieces they had a bundle of scraps on sale and those jumped in the cart too.

Good thing I did because I ended up liking some of the fabrics in the surprise bundle more than what i had originally planned. I have all the pieces cut and ready to begin sewing just need to find the time.
