YOP 16/53

Going out of town for the weekend was fun, but it did leave me to scramble to get all the chores done in a timely manner upon my return.

Knitting

  • 6 pairs of socks

  • Finish the Naughty Sweater 7/6/23
  • Finish the sweater for my sister

  • Summer sweater knit (Vibes)
  • cardigan for me
  • Stephen West project
    • Secret Sock Along 8/12/23, 9/2/23

  • Row and Kates project
    • began knitting the Stormseeker Tee 10/8/23

  • Tifneilan project
  • Petite Knits project
  • Melissa K designs project
  • Stephanie Lotven design project
  • Joji Locatelli project
  • Charity Knitting

Weekly Update: I finished the sweater for my sister. I worked on my new sweater cast on and also the I'm Batty for Halloween socks during my travels. Those socks are driving me a little batty - first try too tight, I haven't had a try on yet. Knitting on the plane for some reason lead to a stitch count error on the needles. I am going to be visiting frog island for at least a little bit to see where the error is in the making.

Crochet

Weekly Update: No crochet this week. I do not have a portable crochet project I could take with me on the trip.

Cross stitch

  • finish Tower of London card 8/5/23
  • finish Mom project I began in 2000 (this will be the hardest to complete. I was working on this project when my mother passed away)

Weekly Update: No stitching this week.

Weekly Update: The acorn earrings looked adorable and very Fall like when worn.

  9. marinera sauce
  10. can 5 pounds of sweet potatoes
  11. pulled pork barbeque

  13. extra: Peach jam 8/4/23

Sewing

Weekly Update: The Woodland sweatshirt is super cozy. I do think I need to size down in the pattern. It is a tad larger than needed.
