One Sock Done

I finished the first sock. I am quite happy with the stripe placement. Leaving in an afterthought heel did help with maintaining the stripes placement.

The second sock in the pair has already been cast on. I did have to unwind part of the skein to get to the same color for the beginning of the sock I used on the first sock. I thought I would at least try to begin them matching and see what happens.

Maybe it is the wild colors in the sock but these socks do like being photographed in the wild.
