Quick Roast Beef Dinner

If you have the ingredients this is a quick dinner. The recipe is for foil wrapped french dip sandwiches. You will need a loaf of crusty bread, cheese slices and roast beef slices.

Honestly the hardest part of this one is cutting the bread so you don't end up with too many slices.

On my weekly visit to Costco I picked up a loaf of french bread, the roast beef and the cheese. I cannot testify to how this works over a campfire, but it works just fine in a foil wrapped package in your oven.

Each sandwich turned out quite yummy. The sandwiches were different sized based on where the bread was in the loaf. This would be a great meal to serve to hungry teenagers. I did make a dipping sauce to go with the sandwiches but no one actually dipped anything so I could have saved myself that step.

Leftovers heated nicely in a toaster oven and even in the microwave.
