Randomness

Well nothing too exciting happening today. I have been sewing but for money. I was approached by someone to sew patches on her daughter's Girl Scout vest. I have spent about 3 hours (with thread changes, winding bobbins, and working on proper placement) sewing on 41 badges. I received the commission on Friday and she needed it on Monday. It will be delivered and paid for tomorrow.

I did get happy yarn mail. The yarnable subscription box arrived on Friday night. This month I was able to switch my box to a plush sock weight instead of DK. The yarn is a lovely purple (must keep it out of sight of my sister, who loves purple). The box also contained a pattern for a hat (I saw the finished object on the designer on Youtube and it is cute as a button). A very nice bag to hold knitting and a pad of project trackers. For the hat I will need to source one of those very large fake fur pompoms to top it off.

It was a very purple box, but everything is lovely. Now I just have to get knitting with these goodies.
