Sweater Dress
This week at work is Holiday Spirit Week. The week starts off with Ugly Sweater day. I see no reason to buy an ugly sweater to wear once. I also have not knit any ugly sweaters (they get frogged before being completed).
I bought a festive waffle print from Olga's Closet and I was off to the sweater races.
Look at that strip matching on the sleeves! I used the Going Home Sweater pattern from Ellie & Mac pattern company. I used the dress length portion of the pattern.
I basted the sides before serging them together. I made an almost perfect strip match. Maybe I will need to buy more striped fabric to keep practicing.
It looks like a sweater and it very cozy. I paired it with some black hose and boots to complete the festive look.
